Structure includes insulated glass windows, a walk in trucker’s sign in vestibule, a separate security guard office, communications & electronics closet, PVC diamond patter tile flooring, ducted roof top commercial HVAC unit along with supplemental heat, outlets, lighting, code compliant design and custom canopy overhang with fascia to conceal the roof top mechanical unit. This building weighs approximately 20,000 pounds and has four lift rings in the roof.
The Michigan State Park at Silver Lake, Michigan has a classic Par-Kut entrance fee collection booth.
This factory assembled unit is at least 25 years old and is holding up very well. The prefabricated building features all welded steel body panels and roof as well as aluminum windows. The door type shown here has been replaced with a full 2″ thick, galvanized steel door with a hook bolt lock. Windows can be fixed or sliding, for either ventilation, or transactions. Electrical is factory installed and typically includes heat, light, convenience outlets, and all wiring to a wall mounted circuit breaker panel.
This raised 10′ x 20′ Par-Kut Building was built for Northstar Energy Services. Built to withstand hurricanes, the Texas labeled Structure includes an office area, restroom, and electrical utilities room. Above the swinging steel door there is a removable transom to make it easier for taller equipment to be taken in and out of the booth. The windows include solarban z75 lowE insulated tempered safety glass. This building weighs approximately 23,000 pounds and has lift rings in the roof.
A State University in North Carolina needed a 3’ x 7’ Pay Machine Shelter for one of their visitor parking lots. This shelter features clear tempered safety glass on the sides as well as a glass ceiling. Pre-drilled anchor plates are included at all four corners. Welded steel frame painted in color of choice. Electric optional.
This elevated 6’ x 6’ guard building was built for the roof top parking deck at Cobo Center in Detroit, MI to enhance security.
This classic looking booth includes heating and cooling, tinted/insulated windows, sliding steel door and a 12” canopy overhang on all sides. Roof was prepped for camera installation. The platform was 6’0” high, with grip strut steps and hand rails. Stand painted black (hot dip galvanized optional).

Five of these 6’ x 8’ Booths were custom fabricated for a security integration firm. Par-Kut built the booths with sloped windows for enhanced downward viewing. The scissor lift trailer with stabilizers jacks, lights and generator were provided by the customer.
Portable, raised viewing platform provides superior observation point for security officers.

This 6’x8’ elevated bullet resistant building was built for a nuclear operating station. The custom built bullet resistant enclosure includes: Heavy duty welded tube steel frame, mirrored gray tinted NIJ Level 4 Glass, hinged ballistic steel door with panic exit device, red lamp sleeves for night vision, sliding gun ports, HVAC and more.

One of several 4′ x 5′ trailer mounted security booths provided by Par-Kut to this security firm, this photo shows the portable guardhouse in use at an active construction site for a major new facility in Detroit. The trailer mounted booths can be towed locally with a simple 2″ ball hitch on a pick up truck or SUV. And, the cost of operating a booth is much, much less than operating a car.
This 10′ x 25′ welded steel Par-Kut in plant office was custom built to serve as an operator shelter at a utility company in the great state of Texas. Unique design includes a custom 45 degree corner for optimum viewing of an important process. The portable steel office also includes outlets, HVAC, phone and data preps, and partitions and doors to further optimize usability of the 250 square foot building.
Built for a State of Wisconsin property, this 6′ x 8′ PAR-KUT building features bullet resistant security for the ultimate in attendant and facility safety and protection. The ballistically hardened guard booth has a rooftop a/c unit, heavy duty heater, built in work desk, sliding door in the rear wall, two top hung sliding interrogation windows and all wiring per NEC and terminating at a wall mounted circuit breaker panel.
As part of a larger construction project, a Midwestern city’s regional transportation authority specified and purchased two PAR-KUT Model 66, 6′ x 6′ security booths. These portable steel buildings include a top hung sliding window for interviewing visitors, tinted insulated glass for comfort and code compliance, underfloor insulation and a plywood and tile finished floor, a high capacity through the wall HVAC unit. The guardhouse was further modified for utility with additional electrical outlets inside and was prep’d for future phone installation. Proof positive that if you take care of your people, they will take care of you!
This custom factory assembled security building features a brick veneer, a hip style standing seam metal roof and a large canopy overhang on the business side of the booth. The curb, island and booth were designed to accomodate the city bus drivers to walk up to the service window for their daily route instructions. As a comfort feature, an infra red heater was installed in the roof overhang above the sliding window. All wiring was installed according to the National Electric Code and included air conditioning, heat and internal lighting for the dispatch office.
In the southern regions of this great country of ours, a certain Wildlife Refuge specified a pair of code compliant ticket booths for installation in their visitor parking lots. The 4’6″ x 7′ portable steel buildings include tinted glass, an exterior stainless steel package shelf, a top hung sliding transaction window, extended roof overhang over the ticket window, internal counter-top and storage drawer, and a sliding steel door with lock. The customer applied their own graphics to assist customers with finding the information booths. These insulated steel booths have a lift ring in the top and are entirely pre wired for electrical.
This 6′ x 8′ Par-Kut PARVUE Series booth features butt glazed corners, a double band fascia that conceals the roof top RV style air conditioner, site installed brick to match surrounding buildings, and high efficiency tinted insulated glass in the windows. Other amenities in this factory assembled welded steel guardhouse include sliding window, security beacon, internal lighting and outlets, insulated walls and roof, and a built in countertop.
Located at a Fortune 500 food processing plant, this 10′ x 20′ PAR-KUT building is good looking and nicely equipped! Featuring an ADA restroom, two top hung sliding steel doors, tinted insulated glass, an 18″ wide roof overhang for shading, a 24″ tall fascia with decorative corrugated metal added by customer, soffit lighting by Par-Kut, and site installed masonry, this building looks as good as you can get!
Great example of an attractive standard PAR-KUT Model #64, 4′ x 6′ booth with 3″ canopy overhang. This welded steel building was purchased by a hospital in North Dakota and has all the standard features: insulation, built in counter with drawer, polyurethane paint in color of choice, clear tempered glass in anodized aluminum frames and factory installed electric. It was modified with optional sliding vent windows with screens, a roof top RV style a/c unit, and a heavy duty heater.
This major parking operator in Pennsylvania manages locations all over the downtown areas in Pittsburgh. This booths is a two door Par-Kut Model #64, our 4′ x 6′ standard welded steel booth. Each door is modified to include a vertical sliding transaction window plus a pad lock hasp. Further options include quad outlets (4), heavy duty heater, and 3′ x 6″ canopy overhang with rain water drain pipe. The booth was painted with blue polyurethane paint at the factory and was later wrapped with custom signage to match the infamous “Brillo” art piece by Andy Warhol since this booth was installed in the parking lot at the Warhol Museum.
This State University campus in New York state needed a couple new bus shelters that would be visually attractive in addition to provided basic shelter while students wait. They determined a 5′ x 10′ pre assembled, welded steel shelter design from Par-Kut was the best value. The three sided shelters include a hip style standing seam metal roof, two color paint scheme, painted steel window mullions, clear unbreakable and mar resistant polycarbonate glazing and a vandal resistant 2 lamp 48″ long light fixture with photo cell control.
6′ x 12′ Presidential Series booth was built for a major state park in Detroit, Michigan. Features of this portable steel building include lane control lights, standing seam hip style roof, tinted unbreakable polycarbonate glazing, two double action cashier doors, undercounter locking cash drawers, fork lift pockets in the base for easy portability and factory installed HVAC.
The lead architect for refurbishment of a hurricane damaged high school campus contacted Par-Kut regarding the need for a custom, but pre assembled ticket booth. The design concept proposed and accepted by the client included factory adhered masonry and a premium pre-finished standing seam metal hip style roof. These features echo the construction of other new buildings on campus. The ticket booth from Par-Kut includes ticket windows with high security roll up shutters, exterior lighting, an HVAC unit, custom plastic laminate countertops, cash drawers and rubber tile flooring. Booth measures approximately 6′ x 8′ with a 21″ overhang and 12″ high fascia.
This South-West USA utility needed to install a security booth at a fenced and gated entrance at their generating plant. Based on a previous order with Par-Kut, they went with an 8′ x 10’10 sized building and custom features. The security guard shelter includes two hinged doors with hydraulic closers, sliding insulated glass windows, exterior floodlights, a commercial grade through wall HVAC unit, extra electrical outlets inside, interior lighting, circuit breaker panel with main, tread plate floor, insulation in walls and roof, and finish in single color of choice. This installation is unique with the security building straddling the fence line.
When a major Carolina based insurance company wanted a custom building for their campus entrance, they turned to Par-Kut International, Inc. The solution was a custom designed 7′ x 16’9″ building with a built in restroom, custom cabinetry, storefront type doors, custom window mullions, green insulated glass, HVAC and full electrical, as well as an exterior prepared for field installed stonework. Like all Par-Kut buildings it was built to order and built to last!
This Louisiana distribution center needed a durable and good looking guardhouse. They specified a PAR-KUT Model #86DD, 6′ x 8′ security booth with two sliding doors for service in the middle of an entry/exit lane. The building was further enhanced with factory adhered thin brick, tinted insulated glass, exterior flood lights, a roof top RV style air conditioner, and a double band roof fascia designed to conceal the roof top a/c unit. Factory assembled building includes all wiring for electrical devices installed per National Electric Code.
Par-Kut’s customer is the maker of the dredge system shown here. Our portable steel building serves as the operator cab for the floating dredge produced by a leading manufacturer of such systems. To enable maximum utility, the building includes two hinged steel access doors, custom lower panel vision window to enable viewing of the business end of the dredge, an open floor plan to allow for customer installed control panels, built in wiring troughs and mounting tabs on the exterior for additional site installed devices. To reduce glare, this operator shelter includes dark tinted glass. Like all Par-Kut buildings, this welded steel structure includes a lift ring in the roof for offloading and placement.
One of our great customers is the company that operates the largest weekend flea markets in Texas. Raising the bar for their customers and making the customer’s experience as pleasant as possible includes the entrance booths! When entering these shopping meccas, the customers find professionally designed and built cashier booths. The flea markets’ color scheme is incorporated into the look of the booths as well as directional traffic lights and cash handling equipment. Roof top RV style air conditioners help the attendants stay cool and calm in the Texas heat to best assist the arriving customers as required.
